Free housing for out of town dancers!
Why free housing for out of town dancers? A little bit of history...
It all started in 1998. A group of 19 dancers from Chicago came to San Francisco because of their passion for a dance : Lindy Hop. Unwittingly, they created the first ever "Lindy Exchange" which became a cultural phenomenon. In only a few years the "exchange calendar" was packed with events across the USA, and even across the world. Hundreds of dancers would swirl upon a city and share their passion for the dance.
Paris Blues Dance is not an exchange. It's just a monthly dance party but Nathalie & Doriana love to have out of town dancers at their parties.

What do hosts do?
Locals simply offer to out of town dancers somewhere to sleep (a bed, a couch, a mattress or an airbed) and somewhere to wash. Hosts aren't expected to offer sheets, towels and food or to host their guests for any longer than the length of the party itself, though they may choose to do so.
If you are a Parisien dancer and can offer a place to stay after the Blues party, join the Facebook group.

What do guests do?
Guests are usually expected to make their bed.  It's usually nice to offer a little present to your host to show your gratitude to him/her. It's a good thing to discuss every detail before the weekend (example: will bedding sheets and towels be landed or will you have to bring yours?).
If you are an out of town dancer and need a place to stay after the Blues party,
join the Facebook group.
